About Me

Every human lives a limited time, which in relation to the time of the universe is as long as a blink of an eye.

The creation of beauty is my work; Photography, Video, Painting, and Music are my tools.

My Story

In 1978, I was born in Andria, in southern Italy, and I grew up in a family that was not wealthy, but I had a happy childhood.

In 1989, I moved to Bologna with my family, a difficult change, but one that allowed me to discover my passion for drawing and music.

While watching a craftsman restoring a church, I decided that I wanted to become an artist as well.

I started graphic arts school and became deeply passionate about imagery and its world.

I also discovered the camera, and I was fascinated by it. From then on, I took several photography and reportage courses at the John Kaverdash Academy in Milan. After some time, I began working at a company as a print technician and as a photographer for an agency.

My change in perspective began with the discovery of a degenerative eye disease.

This problem made me reflect on how life can change quickly and how the time we have should be spent nurturing the soul with positive things.

I have done several war reportages with agencies and humanitarian organizations in the Middle East. After witnessing so much despair, I realized that to improve as human beings, we need to see beautiful and positive things.

I am a humanist with a gaze turned toward nature. In my works, I focus on the exaltation of beauty, returning, through print, a tactile sensation of the elements represented.

The themes I address are: Time, Nature, and Man.

The planet is increasingly saturated by human alteration.
Our society distributes information that negatively influences our lives.

With my works, I try to create visions that are not only aesthetically pleasing but true nourishment for the soul—emotional bridges that reconnect Man to himself.
